Definition: The special tempers for this material grade are MO and MH respectively and are defined as follows:

  MO a specially controlled hot rolled grade; having properties approaching those of soft temper.
       
  MH a grade attained by special control in hot and warm rolling involving increased residual cold work; material properties of this grade approach those of half-hard temper.

Designations & Usage
The metallurgical grading for this type of material is designated by MAL-MG5.
1050-MH MG5 For roller coating products (accepted deep drawing after coating heat treatment)
1100-MH MG5 For roller coating products (accepted deep drawing after coating heat treatment)
1050-MO MG5 For making stainless steel cookware bottom circle
1100-MO MG5 For making stainless steel cookware bottom circle and fry pans with drawing ratio < 1.5
3003-MO MG5 For making fry pans with drawing ratio < 1.5 (no "orange peel". The grains cannot be seen.)
3103-MO MG5 For making fry pans with drawing ratio < 1.5 (no "orange peel". The grains cannot be seen.)
3004-MO MG5 For making fry pans with drawing ratio < 1.5 (no "orange peel". The grains cannot be seen.)
4006-MO MG5 For making fry pans with drawing ratio < 1.5 (no "orange peel". The grains cannot be seen.)
